PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress erroneous electric leak determination by suppressing the occurrence of a detection error caused by variation in the capacitance of a coupling capacitor.SOLUTION: An electric leak detection device is provided which includes a capacitance variation correction control unit that automatically corrects a pulse signal SG2 output by a pulse generation unit 12 so as to suppress change in peak voltage detected by a voltage detection unit 13 for variation in the capacitance of a coupling capacitor Cc. The capacitance variation correction control unit corrects the frequency, amplitude, or duty ratio of a pulse signal, and thereby corrects influence of change in the capacitance of the Cc. The electric leak detection device has a high-speed mode giving priority to a necessary time for measurement and a high-accuracy mode giving priority to measurement accuracy, and automatically selects an appropriate mode according to a situation. In the high-accuracy mode, the electric leak detection device performs processing to measure variation in the capacitance of the Cc.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
