In order to reduce power consumption and improve accuracy without needing a management device for whole system, this information processing device includes: a detection means that detects detection information, i.e., information indicating a state outside of the device; a communication means that receives receiving information, i.e., results of determination made by means of another device; and a control means, which calculates, on the basis of the detection information and the receiving information, first determination results, i.e., results obtained by determining device peripheral state, transmits the first determination results to another device via the communication means, operates needed functions of detection means or the communication means, and stops unneeded functions.
