ACCESS METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR USER EQUIPMENT

An access method and apparatus for a user equipment (UE) are disclosed in the present invention. In the method, a Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) resource is selected according to a preset manner, and the PRACH resource is one of the following: a preamble resource, a preamble resource and one or more access occasions, a preamble resource and one or more frequency domain resources, a preamble resource and one or more time-frequency resources; and access is performed by the use of the PRACH resource. According to the technical solution provided by the present invention, the access delay of the UE is effectively reduced, the resource requirement of a system is reduced, and meanwhile collision probability is also reduced.
