The purpose of the present invention is to provide a rolling simulation device that can achieve a high precision rolling simulation. Provided is a rolling simulation device connected to a rolling system, which is provided with a rolling line and a settings computer. The rolling simulation device has a simulation conditions setting unit that sets simulation conditions for product quality and operating conditions in virtual operations for heating, rolling, cooling, and transporting a virtual metal material on a rolling line. The device also has a virtual rolling line settings calculation unit that calculates control target values for actuator groups provided on the rolling line and state prediction values for the virtual metal material using a second model formula similar to a first model formula in the settings computer so as to achieve the simulation conditions. The device is also provided with a parameter updating unit for updating the model parameter group for the second model formula on the basis of the model parameter group for the first model formula when the model parameter group for the first model formula is updated.
