摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out light of a narrow band having a spread of some extent in a region ranging from visible to near infrared light with a high light intensity and a high light extraction efficiency.SOLUTION: In an organic light-emitting diode of a bottom emission type, a fine uneven structure is formed by concave and convex portions in a face of a negative electrode conductive layer where it is in contact with an organic electroluminescence layer. Supposing that, of wavelengths providing a half value of a peak λof a light emission spectrum of light coming from an organic luminescent material, a shorter wavelength is λ, and a longer wavelength is λ, and real parts of a propagation constant of surface plasmon at an interface of the negative electrode conductive layer and the organic electroluminescence layer, which correspond to a wavelength 2λ-λand 2λ-λare kand krespectively, a power spectrum of a height distribution of the fine uneven structure at the interface has a finite value between a wave number Kand a wave number K, and the integration value of a spectral intensity in the wave number range has an intensity value of no less than 50% of spectral intensities over all of wave numbers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
