Disclosed are an anti-counterfeiting fiber (1), anti-counterfeiting paper containing the anti-counterfeiting fiber, and manufacture method thereof. The anti-counterfeiting fiber is a slice (4) or part of a slice cut along a cross-section (3) of a strip-shaped fiber (2), wherein the strip-shaped fiber comprises a specific structure along the length direction providing anti-counterfeiting characteristics. Structures manufactured using the principles of the process has better orientation than structures manufactured using the original process for manufacturing anti-counterfeiting fiber during the paper manufacturing process and can form more unique visual characteristics.
