The invented treatment process of branch knots with exactly regulated structure of crushed material for the production of lignans for use in food production is characterized in that prior crushing, the branch knots are lyophilized by liquid gas to a temperature lower than -60 degC, whereupon an abrasive band (7) and a pressure device (3) with pressure control are brought into operation. At the above-indicated temperature, the wood mass is bristle and easily convertible by means of a diamond abrasive band to small particles, wherein at this temperature resin comprised therein does not stick onto the band working surface and continuously drops down into a crushed material tank, whereby through the selection of the abrasive band particle size and selection of its adjustable velocity, a defined size of dust particles is achieved. Subsequently, extraction of lignans by water takes place at a temperature of 100 degC. Apparatus for making the above-described process consists of a pressure-cooling chamber (1) with a hopper (2), provided with a pressure device (3). An injection nozzle (4) connected via a controller (5) with a liquid gas tank (6), has its outlet in the pressure-cooling chamber (1). An abrasive band (7) with its holder (8) provided with a pressure device fits close to the pressure-cooling chamber (1) while a cleaning device (12) fits close to the abrasive band (7) backside. An electric motor (9) with a speed controller (10) drives the abrasive band (7). A crushed material tank (13) is situated underneath the abrasive band (7). The liquid gas tank (6) contains liquid nitrogen. Alternatively, the liquid gas tank (6) can contain liquid carbon dioxide. |
