PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an absorbent article which has improved skin touch and prevents a body from getting dirty by menstrual blood.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of an absorbent article includes: a process of introducing a liquid permeable surface sheet 3 on an upper surface of an absorber 4, introducing a liquid impermeable back surface sheet 2 on a lower surface of the absorber 4, and introducing a three-dimensional gather forming continuous sheet 7 on both side parts of a line of cut along an outline of the liquid impermeable back surface sheet 2 by a first product cutter 23; a process of cutting at least both side parts in a width direction of an absorbent article along the outline of the absorbent article by leaving the three-dimensional gather part by a second product cutter 26 having a recessed part formed in a circumferential direction in a central part in a width direction of a drum peripheral surface so that the raised three-dimensional gather part fits in while the three-dimensional gather part of the three-dimensional gather forming continuous sheet 7 is raised; and a process of cutting the three-dimensional gather forming continuous sheet 7 by a third product cutter 28 along the outline of the absorbent article. |
