PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor device for a passenger absolutely suppressing congestion of passengers at a transfer part.SOLUTION: In a conveyor device for passenger, a plurality of passenger conveyors 1a, 1b is arranged in a transferable manner. Each of the passenger conveyors 1a, 1b comprises: a controlling device 2a (2b) comprising an operation controlling part 3a (3b) for controlling operation of the passenger conveyor; and an inverter device 8a (8b) which is controlled by the operation controlling part 3a (3b) so as to change the driving speed of the passenger conveyors 1a, 1b. According to the instruction for speed change, the controlling device 2a (2b) determines the order of speed change for the passenger conveyor so as to maintain the relationship in which driving speed for the latter passenger conveyor is the same or faster than the driving speed for the former passenger conveyor; and after confirmation of the accomplishment of speed change for the passenger conveyor whose speed should be changed in advance, the controlling device 2a (2b) changes speed of the next passenger conveyor. |
