<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector that can determine the movement of the projector with respect to a projection surface, and can be reduced in size and in the number of components, and a control method for the projector. <P>SOLUTION: A projector 100 that projects an image on a screen SC comprises: an imaging unit 180 that photographs a range including the image projected on the screen SC; an image blur detection unit 123 that detects a blur in a photographed image photographed by the imaging unit 180; and a movement determination unit 124 that determines the movement of the projector with respect to the screen SC on the basis of a result of detection by the image blur detection unit 123. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
