PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which can more efficiently improve a screening effect of a recessed part attributed to a splice part or the like.SOLUTION: In a pneumatic tire 1, an annular decorative pattern 8 is formed by arranging in a sidewall part 3 a plurality of ridges 7 at 0.5 to 5.0 mm in a tire circumferential direction, and is provided with a carcass 5 formed by splicing a carcass ply 5a. The decorative pattern 8 comprises two or more ridges 7 different in cross-sectional shape and is formed by arranging groups of ridge different in kind in the tire circumferential direction with groups of ridges where 2 to 17 ridges 7 having the identical cross-sectional shape are successively arranged as a pattern unit. A length PL in the tire circumferential direction of a splice part 6 of the carcass ply 5a is virtually equal to a length CL in a tire circumferential direction of at least one of the groups of ridge. |
