<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for managing entrance into/exit from a room, which can accurately determine whether a user gets out or stays home by using an active tag. <P>SOLUTION: A system 1 for managing entrance into/exit from a room includes: two antennae which are provided on the inside and outside of a door 200 and which repeatedly transmit signals; an active tag A10 which measures signal intensities of signals received from the two antennae and which transmits information on a difference or ratio between the measured signal intensities; and a management device 20 which receives and stores the information transmitted from the active tag A10.
