Methods and systems for communication management between an electronic device, e.g. smart phone, and a wearable electronic device, e.g. smart watch, are provided. First, when an electronic device (110) receives an event, it is determined whether a display unit (112) of the electronic device (110) is currently active. When the display unit (112) is not currently active, the event is transmitted to a wearable electronic device (120) via a wireless network (130). When the display unit (112) is currently active, a notification corresponding to the event is directly generated via the electronic device (110). |
