PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating gun that can change a coating pattern, while suppressing the change of brightness.SOLUTION: As shown in Fig. (a), in a shaping ring 13, shaping air ejection holes 48 are provided inclined to a rotary central axis 42 of a rotary atomizing head so that a shaping air becomes a swirl flow. As shown in Fig. (b), when rotating the shaping ring 13 in a direction opposite to an inclination direction of the shaping air ejection hole 48, the shaping air collides with an atmospheric air and is inclined more greatly. As a result, in comparison with (a)(during non-rotation), a coating pattern becomes a greater diameter. The coating pattern can continuously be changed by controlling a rotational speed. As an effect, the shaping air is constant and there is least risk of brightness change, so that the coating pattern can be changed, while suppressing the change of the brightness. |
