<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carcass band molding system shortening the molding time of a carcass band having two inner and outer cylindrical carcass ply material layers, and a carcass band molding method. <P>SOLUTION: The carcass band molding system has with a supply means 10 for supplying first and second unvulcanized strip like carcass ply materials, a drum support means 30 for supporting at least first and second molding drums 20A and 20B for molding the first and second cylindrical carcass ply materials so as to be able to rotate them around the center axial lines m1 and m2 of the respective molding drums and displacing the molding drums between a position adjacent to the supply means 10 and a position apart from the supply means, an outside joining means 40 for joining both ends of the unvulcanized carcass ply materials supplied around the molding drums 20A and 20B and a transfer means 50 for holding the first cylindrical carcass ply material molded into a cylindrical shape on the first molding drum 20A from the outer peripheral surface side thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
