Use of alkoxylated alcohol compound (I), as tank mixture additive for plant protection formulations, is claimed. Use of alkoxylated alcohol compound of formula (R 1>O(SO) a(PO) b(EO) c(BO) dR 2>) (I), as tank mixture additive for plant protection formulations, is claimed. SO : -CH(C 6H 5)-CH 2-O- or -CH 2-CH(C 6H 5)-O-; PO : -CH(CH 3)-CH 2-O- or -CH 2-CH(CH 3)-O-; EO : -CH 2-CH 2-O-; BO : -CH 2-CH 2-CH 2-CH 2-O-; R 1>6-22C alkyl or mixture of such alkyl radicals, preferably 3,5,5-trimethylhexyl; R 2>H, 1-4C alkyl, acyl or (meth-)acryloxy, preferably H or CH 3; a, d : 0-1; b : 0.5-4; and c : 1-5. Independent claims are included for: (1) a composition comprising (I), where the composition forms no foam when used as tank mixture additive in spray mixture; (2) an aqueous composition comprising (I), where the composition forms no micelles, when used as 0.001-0.5 vol.% of aqueous solution, equivalent to 10-1000 ml/hectare in the spray mixture; and (3) a composition comprising (I) and polysiloxane compound of formula (R1a-[O] z-Si((CH 3) 2)-[O-Si((CH 3) 2)] x-[O-Si(CH 3)((O) z-R)] y-O-Si((CH 3) 2)-[O] z-R1a) (II). R1a : R, 1-8C alkyl or H; R : C nH 2 nO(C eH 2 eO) pK 1>; K 1>H, or alkyl with 4 or less carbon atoms; n : 3-4; e : 2-4; p : >= 3; z : 0 or 1; x : 0-100; and y : >= 0.
