The invention relates to a bearing assembly for a rotor shaft of an electric machine, having two ball bearings accommodating the ends of the rotor shaft, wherein the inner rings of two ball bearings are arranged on the rotor shaft in an axially immovable manner. While the outer ring of the first ball bearing is arranged in a first bearing receiving means in the housing of the electric machine in an axially immovable manner, the outer ring of the second ball bearing is received by a second bearing receiving means in a bearing shield of the electric machine in an axially immovable manner. The bearing shield is connected to the housing of the electric machine. The second bearing receiving means can move in the axial direction of the rotor shaft in relation to the housing of the electric machine. |
