PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent image printed matter in which different latent images are clearly visible in a plurality of observation angles under the condition of reflected light, while a substrate to be used has no limitation and has no reduction in the strength.SOLUTION: The latent image printed matter includes: a plurality of background elements disposed in a matrix with a color different from that of a substrate in a region having light-reflecting property on the substrate; and a latent image element having a raised portion with the same color as that of the above region, disposed at a position adjoining or close to the background element in at least one direction, in which a latent image is formed by a plurality of the latent image elements disposed in the same direction. When the printed matter is tilted and observed under the condition of reflected light, a contrast is produced as the background elements are out of observer's vision depending on the presence or absence of the latent image elements, and thereby, the latent image composed of the plurality of latent image elements disposed in the same direction is visible.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
