1. A non-transitory, computer readable media having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by a processing device, perform steps comprising:
receiving a recording request to record a program via use of a digital video recording device; storing information indicative of a user providing the recording request to record a program via use of the digital video recording device; receiving a display request to display a listing of programs that have been recorded via use of the digital video recording device; and using the information indicative of the user providing the display request to display a listing of programs that have been recorded via use of the digital video recording device and the stored information indicative of the user providing the recording request to record a program via use of the digital video recording device to provide an order to the listing of programs that have been recorded via use of the digital video recording device when displayed to a display requesting user.
