<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkoxymagnesium preparation method that can gain a solid catalyst component appropriate for manufacturing a high-bulk density low fine powder polymer without dropping the performance like stereoregularity, polymerization activity, and so on of a produced polymer, an olefin polymerization catalyst using alkoxymagnesium, and an olefin polymerization catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The olefin polymerization catalyst (X) can be gained by contacting: alkoxymagnesium (A) obtained by contacting magnesium, alcohol and a reaction accelerator, and thereafter by contacting magnesium and the reaction accelerator twice or more; a quadrivalent titanium halogen compound (B); and electron-donating compound (C).
