A thermal conditioning wall panel 10 for use in a thermally insulating container comprises a panel body (22, fig 3) having a channel (26, fig 5) formed therein along one face thereof for receiving one or more thermal conditioning elements 12. At least one foot (32, fig 5) is formed at the lower end of the body (22) for engagement within a socket (60, fig 13a) provided on the thermally insulating container. The panel further comprises thermal conditioning element retaining elements (40, fig 5) provided adjacent the longitudinal edges (29, fig 5) of the channel (26), the retaining elements (40) projecting over a peripheral portion of the channel (26) for retaining the thermal conditioning elements 12 within the channel (26). The container may include a base panel 4, which may be mounted on or attached to a pallet 6. The base panel 4 may include the socket (60), top panels 14 may be provided and may receive blocks of thermal conditioning material 16. Outer side wall panels 8 may be provided and a lid 20 may be mounted to the panels 8. The lid member 20 may comprise two lid portions 20a, 20b hingedly connected by a hinge (110, fig 1). |
