PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmologic apparatus and a method for controlling the same capable of performing an accurate AE detection at low cost without complicating the apparatus.SOLUTION: An ophthalmologic apparatus has: acquisition means for acquiring a photometric value on the basis of an output of imaging means for acquiring a moving image of an inspecting eye illuminated with infrared light; determination means for determining an amount of light emission of an imaging light source for imaging the inspecting eye with visible light on the basis of the photometric value acquired; and control means for controlling the imaging light source on the basis of the amount of light emission determined so that a still image of the inspecting eye illuminated with the visible light is acquired. |
