PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture method of live sea urchin not slimming as long as about 2 weeks, even if low-temperature ocean deep water is not used.SOLUTION: Live sea urchin is cultured and prevented from slimming in a low-temperature sea water tank 3 by a process in which, in a heatproof facility 1 having little heat entry, a lower-temperature culture environment than ocean deep water is created, by installing a container 1a packed with ice 2a and a fresh water tank 2 contaminated with ice 2a, and by immersing a sea water tank 3 filled with sea water into the fresh water tank 2, to thereby lower the temperature of sea water in the sea water tank 3. |
