A shaving system comprises a razor 2 with at least one sensor 26 for retrieving data on the shaving behaviour of the user. One such sensor is a movement sensor, preferably an accelerometer 10; other sensors may include temperature and humidity sensors, and a strain gauge to measure resistance against the beard hairs to give an indication of their softness. A wireless transmitter (31, fig. 5) wirelessly transmits the sensed data to a processor (50, fig. 2). |
