PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce reception difficulty caused by an electromagnetic wave noise source on a printed circuit board in a television receiver comprising plural reception systems.SOLUTION: The television receiver comprises: a first wave length laser diode for optical intensity modulation of a first television broadcast signal; a second wave length laser diode for optical intensity modulation of a second television broadcast signal; an optical coupler for coupling the outputs of both of the laser diodes; an optical fiber cable for transmitting the output of the optical coupler; an optical distributor supplied with light from the optical fiber cable; a first high-frequency reception unit which processes the first television broadcast signal having undergone optic/electric conversion by a first wave length photodiode supplied with the output of the optical distributor; and a second high-frequency reception unit which processes the second television broadcast signal having undergone optic/electric conversion by a second wave length photodiode. |
