摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine start control device of a hydrostatic pressure assist vehicle which includes a hydrostatic pressure assist mechanism and also starts an engine in a short time as much as possible using a hydrostatic pressure pump/motor.SOLUTION: A device includes a hydrostatic pressure pump/motor (pump) connected to an in-vehicle engine and an accumulator, the hydrostatic pressure pump/motor is operated as a pump and a discharge pressure is accumulated in the accumulator during deceleration, and the pump/motor is operated as a motor and an engine drive is assisted by the accumulated hydrostatic pressure during starting etc. In the device, a start request of the engine is determined (S10) and the pump is operated as the motor via a solenoid selector valve to start to supply the hydrostatic pressure accumulated in the accumulator (S12, S14). When the rotation number of the pump reaches a first rotation number, a clutch is engaged (S16, S22, S24). When an engine speed reaches a second rotation number, the clutch is disengaged and engine is ignited (S30, S32).
