The invention relates to an assembly for three-dimensionally recording an elongated interior having a longitudinal axis by means of active triangulation. The assembly according to the invention comprises a beam-forming unit, which is substantially independent of the designs of a lighting unit and of a recording unit and which enables the projection of a line of light onto an inner contour of the interior. In addition, the beam-forming unit enables the return of an image of the projected line of light to the recording unit.
