Radically polymerizable cyclohexane monomer (I) is new. Radically polymerizable cyclohexane monomer of formula (I) is new. W 1>, W 2> : H or X-R-Y 1>-PG, where at least one of W 1>and W 2>is X-R-Y 1>-PG; X, Y 1> : ether, ester, amide, urethane or urea; R : 1-16C-alkylene, which is interrupted by O, where R is absent, when X and Y 1>is absent; PG : a cyclic, ring opening polymerizable group; and a-d : 3-10. Independent claims are included for: (1) a composition comprising (I); and (2) the preparation of molded bodies comprising forming the composition to a body with the desired form, and subsequently completely or partially hardening the form. |
