The bracket (1) has a column element (3) having a cylindrical or tubular basic geometry with a diameter that extends in an axial direction (a), and an outer peripheral surface (4). The column element is connected with a retaining plate (11), and two retaining elements (5, 6) radially extend to the outer peripheral surface. The retaining elements are arranged with a set of undersides (7, 8) facing the retaining plate for holding a helically extending cable (2) i.e. spiral wire. The column element has an internal diameter suitable for passing the cable in a strain-relieved state.
