<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which secures a water splash prevention effect of a fin after progression of wear of the tire. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 1 includes fins 6 for preventing water splash in a buttress section. The fins 6 continuously extend around a whole circumference of the buttress section. A plurality of fins 6 are arranged in a tire radial direction at a predetermined interval. The fins 6 can be cut and removed. In such a configuration, since a plurality of stages of fins 6 are arranged, when the fin 6 at the foremost stage does not function caused by decrease of a distance between the fin 6 at the foremost stage and a road surface due to progression of the wear of the tire, the fin 6 at the foremost stage is cut and removed, and it is switched to the fin 6 of the following stage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
