A method, equipment and computer readable medium for allocating resources to user equipments connected to a base station of a cellular network, the resources are used to establish connection between the base station and the user equipments, the resources are associated to different resource areas and each resource areas has a predetermined number of resources, the method comprises; a initial step of associated to each user equipment an initial capacity, the method also comprises the following iterative steps; a first step of determining a user equipment with the lowest capacity, and a second step of determining a resource area within which a spectral efficiency of the user equipment is optimal, and a step of allocating a certain number of resources to the user equipment within the resource area, and a step of updating the capacities associated to the different user equipment. |
