DUAL BAND RFID ACTIVE TAG FOR MANAGING RAIL VEHICLES

Disclosed is a dual-band RFID active tag for managing railroad vehicles, comprising: a power source part including a first-band RFID tag part, a second-band RFID tag part and a rechargeable battery; an external first-band radio wave receiving part; a circuit part for charge using an external first-band radio waves; a high-frequency wave interrupt circuit part using the external first-band radio waves; a microprocessor; and a sensor part connected to the microprocessor. The external first-band radio wave receiving part includes a first-band receiving antenna to transmit the first-band radio waves input from the outside to the first-band RFID tag part, the high-frequency wave interrupt circuit part and the circuit part for charge. The circuit part for charge can charge the battery by receiving the external first-band radio waves, generating electromotive force for the charge, and applying the electromotive force to the battery. The high-frequency wave interrupt circuit part activates the second-band RFID tag part by extracting and using a wake-up signal included in the external first-band radio waves and transmitting an interrupt signal to the microprocessor. According to the present invention, more stable management of railroad vehicles than ever before is enabled via communications using dual bands in a USN-RFID system for managing the railroad vehicles, and the inconvenience in managing a battery can be reduced by organically and efficiently combining signal usage in each signal band and increasing the energy efficiency of power compared with the case of using a simple dual-band or single-band RFID tag.
