The present invention provides a rectifier having an effective sectional area and a high rectification performance. The rectifier (10) arranged on a fluid path (26) where a fluid flows comprises: an introduction opening (12); a discharge opening (13); a main body (11); and a plurality of protrusions (15). The introduction opening (12) is arranged inside the fluid path (26). The discharge opening (13) discharges the fluid. The main body (11) has a connection path (14) connecting the introduction opening (12) with the discharge opening (13). The protrusions protrude from the inner circumference of the connection path (14) toward the interior center and are arranged along the connection path (14). The protrusions (15) have a shape where the width of a part near the center is smaller than the width of a part on a side of the inner circumference of the connection path (14) when viewing in the fluid flowing direction.
