A liquid display device of the present invention includes a liquid crystal panel where a gate line, a dummy data line, and a data line are formed, a timing controller which generates correction data, a data driving part which generates a correction data voltage based on the correction data, provides the same to the dummy data line, and provides a data voltage for displaying an image to the data line, a common electrode which provides a common voltage to the pixies of a liquid crystal panel, and a correction capacitor which is located in the outside of the pixel array of the liquid crystal panel, receives the correction data voltage, and is charged. The correction capacitor is charged by the correction data voltage provided during a polarity change period where the polarity of the data voltage is inversed, and offsets a ripple which is generated in the common electrode by current flow which is formed in a common electrode direction in a voltage charging process. |
