The invention provides an element supply device which can raise charging tray supplement work performed by operators so as to raise productivity. In a process of supplying elements accepted in a charging tray for a carrying head, under the condition that the residual number of trays stacked on a charging tray on a charging tray carrying bench is small, a control portion determines the residual number of elements supplied for a second position (a carrying work position). In addition, when the residual number of elements is large, the control portion declines the charging tray carrying bench to a charging tray supplement position. The device is standby at the charging tray supplement position until the residual number of elements accepted on the charging tray at the second position is reduced. Accordingly, the device can restrain waiting time of operators for decline of the charging tray carrying bench and substantially raise efficiency of charging tray supplement work. |
