<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable label applicator can maintaining a transfer belt with simple operation in such the case where a jam of the label occurs on the transfer belt. <P>SOLUTION: The portable label applicator includes: a holding mechanism for holding a roll including a continuum of labels wound into a roll; a transfer roller for pulling out the continuum of the label from the roll carried by the holding mechanism to carry; a platen unit including the transfer belt that transfers the continuum of the label supplied from the carrier roller in a predetermined direction and is provided on a housing that can be opened or closed by rotation; a belt cover attached to the platen unit that can be opened or closed by rotation for covering at least part of the transfer belt when the cover is closed on the platen unit; and an operation mechanism for driving the platen unit in association with the rotation of an operating lever. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
