<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag which enhances its occupant restraint performance. <P>SOLUTION: The air bag body 11 includes an occupant restraint face part 21 which counters the occupant P. The air bag body 11 includes side face parts 22, 22 which go in the counter direction with respect to the occupant P from both sides of the occupant restraint face part 21. The air bag body 11 includes an upper face part 23 which connects the occupant restraint face part 21 and upper sides of the side face parts 22, 22 mutually. The air bag body 11 includes an under face part 24 which connects the occupant restraint face part 21 and the under parts of the side face parts 22, 22 mutually. The air bag body 11 includes the horizontal fold parts 28, 28 which shorten the up and down size of the side face parts 22, 22.
