To provide a riding detecting device for a saddle riding type vehicle which device makes it possible to achieve simplification and weight reduction of an internal structure of a seat. Solving Means A seat (9) includes cushioning (19) that receives the load of an occupant and a bottom plate member (20) that supports the cushioning (19). Cushion rubbers (27a, 27b,27c) are disposed between the bottom plate member (20) and seat rails (13L,13R). A load sensor (25) is attached to the seat rail (13L) on one side. One (27a) of the cushion rubbers is disposed so as to be capable of abutting against a position of the seat rail (13R) on the other side which position is bilaterally symmetric to the load sensor (25). |
