<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detent escapement in which energy transfer is improved by effectively using the resilience of a one-side activating spring, and a timepiece. <P>SOLUTION: A balance 5 is provided with a one-side activating spring seat 50 including a one-side activating spring 24, and a one-side activating spring support part 56. When a balance 5 is rotated in such a direction as not to activate an operating lever, the one-side activating spring 24 is deformed by contacting the operating lever 23 to store energy and gives the stored energy to the balance 5 when returning to an original position, whereby the energy transfer efficiency of an escapement 1 is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
