<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head which can reliably ground a nozzle plate by preventing deformation of a cover head, and to provide a liquid ejection head. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejection head includes: a head body 30 including the nozzle plate 50 having an opened nozzle opening 51 for ejecting ink; the cover head 70 comprising a cover part 71 having an opening having the exposed nozzle opening 51, and a leg part 72 continuously extended to the cover part 71; and a flow path member 90 which retains a head body 30 and where the leg part 72 of the cover head 70 is secured to a securing part 92. Regarding the cover part 71, the edge part of the opening contacts with the nozzle plate 50. Regarding leg part 72, the length from a distal end 76 to an apical end 77 is longer than the shortest distance obtained by virtually connecting the apical end 77 to the head body 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
