<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea leaf plucker in which tea leaves plucked flow smoothly inside a transfer duct. <P>SOLUTION: The tea leaf pucker includes: a machine body having a gate-shaped frame provided with a travel device that is capable of traveling along a tea ridge across the tea ridge; a clipper-type cutting blade 25 disposed in the lower portion of the gate-shaped frame of the machine body, with its blade edge pointing forward in the direction of travel of the machine body; and a transfer duct 30 that extends upwards while having an opening above the cutting blade 25, for transferring by means of an upward pressure wind the tea leaves cut by the cutting blade 25 and moved inside the opening. A branch pipe 31 which bifurcates and which decreases in the width of its flow passage as it extends upwards is provided in the mid portion of the flow passage of the transfer duct 30. A baffle 75 for guiding the upward pressure wind toward the branch pipe 31 is provided on an inner surface of a rear plate portion 30a of the lower portion 30b of the transfer duct 30 above the cutting blade 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
