<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine a defect of a fillet roller by simple control. <P>SOLUTION: An electric power change amount ΔPi per prescribed time is sequentially calculated in each processing cycle (steps S101 to S102), and an electric power change amount integrated value ΔPj is calculated at each processing cycle (step S106). Then, by comparing the electric power change amount integrated value ΔPj at the processing cycle at this time and an electric power change amount integrated value ΔPj-1 at the processing cycle at a previous time (step S108), it is determined whether or not the fillet roller R is defective depending on whether or not the electric power change amount integrated value ΔPj is larger than the electric power change amount integrated value ΔPj-1, or whether or not the determination determined to be small is continued five times (step S114).
