Novelty: an individual rescue means ensuring complete tightness and protecting shipwrecked passengers from hypothermia which is the main cause of death is disclosed. Constitution: two sections: 1) the uniform-shaped main section composed of the lower part (1) having the form of trousers being tight at the feet region, the bust bearing (20) air chambers (6), the sleeves (3) the ends of which are configurated as gloves (4) and the neck (9) which is tightly adapted, via a thread (11), to the passenger΄s head; furthermore, said main section bears, at different positions, elastic rings (31,32,33,34,35) allowing the autonomous fitting of the uniform to different body types. 2) Two types of head cover: a) the normal bell-like head cover (16) which is liable to be tightly adhered to the main part; it comprises a translucent portion (20) in front of the face and two circular portions at the eyes position; b) the secondary cover (17) which is similar to the normal one (16) except its base which is adapted to the passenger΄s neck via the elastic ring (27). Technical features: the invented rescue means is manufactured in three sizes. The production material is polyethylene for the main body and the head cover, soft PVC for the gloves and gelatine for the translucent parts of the head cover. The head cover and the upper part of the bust have the orange colour of the life jackets. The invention comes in a variant comprising ten air chambers (6) filled with in flated synthetic material, that of the life jackets. |
