PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a path switching device capable of switching a path to be accessed during booting to a storage unit connected to an information processing device even when the information processing device does not freeze.SOLUTION: The path switching device of this invention includes reboot request reception means for reading ans starting an operation system from a specific storage unit among a plurality of connected storage units, and receiving a reboot request from an information processing device to transmit the reboot request in the case of detecting a failure in access to the specific storage unit, and instruction transmission means for making a restart when receiving a reboot instruction in the case of receiving the reboot request from the information processing device, and transmitting the reboot instruction and a path change instruction to the information processing device for changing a reading destination of the operating system to a storage unit different from the specific storage unit among the plurality of storage units when receiving the path change instruction. |
