<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine and a rotor of the rotary electric machine, which reduce a stress occurring at a rotor magnet and whose production is easy and low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor 4 of an electric motor includes a shaft member 41, with a pair of whirl-stop members 42 and 43 being press-fitted onto an outer peripheral surface of the shaft member 41 with a predetermined distance in-between. Rotor magnets 44 and 45 are sandwichedly held between the whirl-stop members 42 and 43 through elastic rings 46 and 47. Convex parts 42b and 43b are respectively formed for the whirl-stop members 42 and 43 and are accommodated in concave parts 44b and 45b of the rotor magnets 44 and 45. The elastic rings 46 and 47 include surrounding walls 461, which engage with the convex parts 42b and 43b and the concave parts 44b and 45b, and connection parts 462 continuing to the surrounding walls 461. Elastic projections, which protrude in a rotation axis direction and abut on one-end parts 44a and 45a of the rotor magnets 44 and 45, are formed on the connection parts 462. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
