摘要 The present invention relates to a method for calculating the remaining distance to be processed for removing a scrap from a wire cutting electric discharge machining device, which allows to precisely measure the remaining distance regardless of the shape of the processing path and to control a device, which prevents a random short circuit of a scrap or a lowered productivity due to secondary processing, and makes it possible to perform unmanned work. The method of the present invention comprises: a step of forming an entering path to form an entering path from a wire inserting hole to the starting point of a first path of a shape unit; a step of setting a processing gap to enter a processing width to be processed by a wire; a step of calculating an offset path to receive an offset and to calculate an offset path in the first path of the shape unit; and a step of forming an end point to apply the cap calculated from the remainder value entered and to form an end point distanced from the entering path. The present invention allows the removal of a scrap with hands without an additional electric charge machining or to easily remove a scrap with only a small impact, and can prevent damage to a machine from a collision following a random short circuit. The present invention can precisely remove a scrap in a stable way regardless of the materials of the scrap to be removed, and can realize an unmanned work of an electric charge machining device.
