The present invention relates to a method of a transmitter for feedback of channel information in a beamforming system, which comprises the following steps: determining whether a receiver feeds back gain information with respect to a valid channel with the receiver by using channel related information with the receiver; notifying a feedback mode for indicating feedback of the gain information to the receiver; and reconstituting the valid channel based on feedback information and transmitting a signal through the reconstituted valid channel, when the feedback information constituted based on the feedback mode is received from the receiver.
