<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve control stability when switching from rectangular wave control to PWM control, in a motor drive control system for driving an AC motor. <P>SOLUTION: A motor drive control system 100 drives an AC motor 200 by an inverter 140. An ECU 300 controls the inverter 140 by a control mode of either rectangular wave control mode or pulse width modulation control mode. The ECU 300 switches from the rectangular wave control mode to the pulse width modulation control mode as a current phase ϕ<SB POS="POST">i#</SB>impressed to the AC motor 200 reaches a threshold ϕ<SB POS="POST">th</SB>during execution of the rectangular wave control mode. Then, the ECU 300 changes the threshold ϕ<SB POS="POST">th</SB>of the current phase ϕ<SB POS="POST">i#</SB>on the basis of a change of a voltage phase ϕv impressed to the AC motor 200 during the execution of the rectangular wave control mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
