The present invention relates to a voltage/current supply apparatus for testing a superconducting cable and a method thereof, comprising: a superconducting cable (3) arranged between superconducting terminals (5, 6); a general power cable (7) arranged between general power cable terminals (11,12) after passing through a current source (13); a power supply line (15) for connecting each of the superconducting terminals (5, 6) and the general power cable terminals (11,12); a voltage supply line (19) for connecting one of the power supply lines (15) to a voltage source (17);and a voltage adjuster (21) connected to the current source (13). The present invention is manufactured in a structure that can easily supply alternating voltage/current to an alternating superconducting cable, thereby stably and easily conducting a reliability test for the superconducting cable. |
