DEVICE FOR REDUCING NONPOINT POLLUTION SOURCE USING THE ECOLOGY CYCLE

The present invention relates to a device to reduce non-point pollutant sources using an ecological cycle, comprising: a vegetation filtration soil layer filled with external soil to plant plants; an earthworm raising box buried and installed in a contaminated water inflow side of an upper part of the vegetation filtration soil layer, and is filled with internal soil to cultivate earthworms inside the earthworm raising box; a screen cover detachably fixated and installed in an upper side of the earthworm raising box to form an inflow passage for inflow of the contaminated water into the earthworm raising box; a screen inserted into the screen cover to filter foreign materials brought along with the contaminated water; and an earthworm input pipe inserted into the internal soil of the worm raising box to supply the earthworms into the internal soil. Accordingly, since a product caused by movements of earthworms in the soil performs two roles of decomposition of pollutants and maintenance of porosity; processing efficiency is improved when compared to a conventional simple installation, and facilitates a consistent and stable penetration of the non-point pollutant sources through a vegetation layer.
